UofT Men and Women at OUA Finals
The UofT men's water polo team completed a perfect OUA season by winning the OUA Championship in convincing fashion. The UT men won their semi-final 15-4 over York and then
took the gold medal with a strong 14-4 win over Carleton. Graeme Myers was voted the tournament MVP. The win marks the 7th championship in the last 9 years for the UT men!!!
The UofT women's water polo team advanced to the OUA championship game by defeating McMaster 11-7 in the semi-final. Nicole Brown was named player-of-the-game. In the final, the Lady Blues came so close but, in the end, dropped a 6-5 decision to Carleton to finish with the silver medal. The UT women's team fought hard right to the end against a team that had easily beaten them twice during the regular season.
Congratulations to both teams and to the numerous Golden Jets players that were part of both rosters!!!
