SR. WOMEN WIN SILVER AT MLWP FINALS

The Toronto Golden Jets Senior Women traveled to Montreal in early March for the Major League Water Polo finals and won the silver medal for the second year in a row.  In the semi-final, the Jets won a nail-biter match 9-8 over Ste. Foy.  Danielle Hirsh had a hat trick for the Jets and Olga Mayorova, Brittany Sinclair andNicole Brown each scored 2 goals.  The Jets were off to the gold medal game next day against DDO.  The Jets played an extremely disciplined defensive game and led 1-0 until late in the 4th quarter when DDO tied it on a power play.  However, in the overtime, the Jets players ran out of energy and the team fell 4-1.  Goalie Breanna Gadzosa was named both regular season and playoffs Most valuable Goalie.
