JETS MEN LOSE FIRST GAME IN OVER TWO YEARS
It had to happen eventually. After more than two years without losing a game, the Golden Jets senior men lost 13-10 to CAMO Roadrunners in Montreal. The Jets never got their game going and trailed throughout the match getting close at 6-7 in the third quarter. Alan Chung was a force offensively notching 5 goals. Tuna Tali scored twice and Rudy Despaigne, Sukhmun Hare and Euan Scoffield added singles.
The next day, the Jets shook off the loss to defeat DDO 18-9. The Jets were led by a pair of 4 goal performances from Hare and Scoffield. Mike Chapman, Daniel Ugray and Chung each scored two goals while Sever Topan, Vlad Tasevski, Matt Hart and Tali chipped in singles.
The 3-1 weekend of play on Montreal left the Jets men in second place, a point behind the Roadrunners but with a game in hand.
