JETS U16 BOYS WIN SILVER MEDAL
The Golden Jets U16 boys team went to the Hamilton Invitational on the weekend and came away with a well-earned silver medal. The team began play on Saturday defeating the hosts 17-4 and followed that up with a 26-5 win over the Shadow. On Sunday, the Jets had to play Kitchener twice (at 9:30am and 12:30pm) before facing Pittsburgh Tiger Club in the final. The Jets defeated K-W both times, 12-7 and 12-5. In the final which came on one hour's rest, the Jets fought gamely before eventually losing 14-12. Baptiste Pousset led the Jets on the weekend with 30 goals. Luka Pejanovic notched 19 goals and Damek Khan-Bougie netted 18.
