JETS MEN WIN ON THE ROAD

The Golden Jets men went to Hamilton for their second MLWP game of the season and came away with a 19-10 win. Tuna Tali had a big game scoring 9 times. His brother Emre and Mike Chapman each netted a hat trick. Centre forward Milos Radojcic notched 2 goals with singles going to Alan Chung and Som Seif.

JETS MEN OPEN MLWP SEASON WITH WIN

The reigning MLWP champion Golden Jets men began the 2015 season with a 18-8 win at home against the Mavs.  The Jets trailed 2-1 near the end of the first quarter but scored twice in 30 seconds to take a 3-2 lead at the end of one.  The team then exploded for 9 goals in a row in the second quarter to lead 12-2 at the half.  Mike Chapman and Emre Tali each scored 4 times.  Tuna Tali, Alan Chung and Sukhmun Hare had a pair apiece with singles going to Som Seif, Vlad Tasevski, Milos Radojcic and Sever Topan.

PRESIDENT'S SON MEETS BRAZIL WOMEN

Golden Jets President, Jacqui (Romandel), spent last week as head of scoring at the World Championship qualification tournament at the Markham Pan Am pool.  Her son, Tyler, volunteered at the games shagging balls behind the nets.  After the first game, Tyler got an unexpected perk when he was "adopted" by the Brazil women's team (see photo).  Looks like he'll be playing his water polo and baseball in Brazil!
