JETS SEND U14 PLAYERS TO MONTREAL TOURNAMENT

The Golden Jets, under Head Coach Mohammed Rezk, sent five players to participate in a Quebec U14 Invitational Tournament in Montreal. The five players joined forces with a handful of players from the local Tiburon club to field a team for the tournament.

The opportunity allowed the players to get to know players in another province while being able to experience higher level competition.

Matija Marinkovic scored 8 goals, Sasha Kosic notched 3 goals in his first tournament from the hole (center forward) position, Sebastien Nisner added 3 nice assists in his first tournament, Marko Burazor played goalie and saved 2 penalty shots in his first tournament and Alex Grgic also got in his first-ever tournament.

We hope that next year the Golden Jets will have a full squad of players and can return to the tournament to show how our level of play has improved.

Great job everyone and thanks to Moh for organizing the trip!
